After reading entries at legacy_writers, I have decided to start using this journal for Sims again. I even cleared out all the entries from three years ago, though I couldn't bear to get rid of the Lauders. Definately my all time favourite family!

I never did finish them, but I got to generation 8 but I can't for the life of me remember what the heir was called. Possibly Esme. Generation 7 was Phoebe, who was a hottie.



Her husband looked like a Ken doll. And that top is actually really booby on her. She has a pretty face though.

Anyway, New Year, new sims etc. I am sort of inspired to do another legacy, after stopping in September, but I don't want to be another unfinished-legacy-writer, so might wait until I am at generation 7 until I post it, so I am less likely to quit.

I re-installed my game for Bon Voyage, and currently have the following;

Wiltshire - English countryside, full of family and knowledge Sims.
Utopia - Where all my favourite sims from my last game live, like the Lauders.
Sweet Valley - Fantasy Sims
Carribean - Empty so far, has an island layout for my future Carribean sims.
Victoria Falls - testing hood.

I play Wiltshire most, and the others rarely.

Until I start my legacy - probably months from now, will use this to showcase my favourite sims. I don't really have any at the moment though, which is unusual.

What a dull entry, must try better next time.

In the next update: Estee Lauder expands, and a new arrival! Will the new baby be as cute as Marie?!

On Thursday my computer had a bit of a hiccup, where it switched itself off mid-save, and as a result corrupted my custom neighbourhood. *insert angry face here* Luckily I have a back-up, but it was from 30th July, and therefore I have lost some of my Lauder legacy. So the next entry will be delayed, as instead of Annaliese being an adult with a baby, she has now reverted back to being in university.

I will just cheat her quickly through uni and back to the same place, but the next generation will come later than planned.

I suppose it could have been worse, I could have lost months of families, but its still annoying as I did a re-organisation last week that I will have to do again, grr. Hopefully it will all be caiught-up in a couple of days.

I introduced the first and second generations ages ago ((Here!) but I didn't finish the third untill last time.

When I last left them, the Lauders had just moved into the mansion, Lauder Manor. Estee was on the brink of Elderhood, having been a successful model all her life. Her Elder husband Alon was top of his career and daughter Colette was top of the athletic career, with two daughters of her own Annaliese and Tahlia. Meanwhile Estee's two other children, Nicole and Dominic moved out to start families of their own. So who would be heir?

Next update will see the arrival of the fourth generation, and hopefully will be sooner rather than later!

Been at home nearly a month now, but barely played, just done lots of organising. Doing downloading this weekend, then think I will play properly.

Been meaning to update on the third generation of the Lauders. Annaliese is the prettiest teen ever, and possibly my favourite Sim ever (must make an icon of her!) but I am too scared to grow her up, as I know her eyes will change colour, as the colour she has now is a glitch. Must do it soon though, as she has been a teen for two months.

Anyway, I have created a brand new custom neighbourhood Palm Springs, which I am really going to make an effort with. I have it fully formed in my mind now, but I made my favourite family before I had decided on all the details.

I got Open For Business in the post today!! Woo!

I won't be going home till next Friday (8 days!) though, so I can't actually play. So excited about my fresh reinstall on a superfast computer, I just spend loads of time downloading. Will renew TSR subscription and donate to PeggySims soon so I get all their objects. So need to sort downloads but havent bothered. Eugh such a big task.

Anyway, pointless post really, just wanted to say woo, OFB!
